About Dan Tobin

With more than 30 years of experience in the learning and development profession, Dan Tobin has founded two corporate universities, served as vice president of design and development at the American Management Association, and given workshops and keynote presentations on five continents.

Dan's work and career has focused on tying all learning initiatives directly to a company's business goals and strategies.  He has created a planning process called a Learning Contract to help corporate training groups make the direct connection between their programs and their company's goals and to ensure that what is learned is actually applied to participants' work to make a positive difference in individual, group, and corporate business outlcomes.
